Ran my truck into a full irriagtion ditch a while back during a rediculous rainstorm. My friend Evan Williams was there too.
Long story short, my amps got fried and now, 3 years later almost I want to revive my system.
The setup was two 500 watt audiobahn 2 channels which were bridged, each powering a 12" audiobahn subwoofer. The noise was REDICULOUS. Amazingly loud and crisp, and i really really miss having a system.
Everything is fine except for the amps, which I need to now replace. What i want to know is, should i still run the same bridged setup of two 500 watt amps, or just buy something like a single 1000 watt to power both subs? I dont know much about systems, so that's why I"m asking. Is bridging far superior to not bridging? Or does it not really matter?
Oh yeah, my budget is probably around 400 dollars max, so I wont be getting as nice of amps as the audiobahns originally were //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
Thanks for all the suggestions!
