I like laid back so if that is any help.. also i need them to get loud.. so what ever gets loud and sounds good doing so the better.. i have 120x2 to work with so which ever will get the loudest/clearest off that would be what i want any help

Polks or Morels for laid back. I prefer the Polks-very nice tweeter.Also a very good crossover if you are not going active.

I own the tempo 6 and have extensively demo'd the Dotech ovation 6. I've been able to compare it to other sets such as k2p, mlk165, germaniums, and even SLCs.. If you can get them for that price, or even more than what you are supposedly paying for them, I would definitely suggest the Dotechs. That is where I am going next with my setup.

I run the SR6500s. If you're looking for a speaker that will be very loud and sound laid back, these may not be for you. They sound less sensitive than, say, Pro60s, and they have a vivid, upfront presentation. Using the stock x-overs and without being installed as coaxials, the Polks can tear your ears off with their upper-midrange energy. OTOH, if you're willing to take the time to tune them - assuming you know what you're doing and why you're doing it - they can be a very rewarding transducer. Going solely on what you've written, I'd suggest choosing another speaker.
