what type of box and what size subs would you do ??

now remember im not rich .....

dont have to recommend brand just what size subs . like 2 18" -- 4 15" ????

and what type of box ??

im looking for nasty lows with good range. is that possible ???

or maybe a wall.......

i have....

4' long

32" wide

16" floor to bottom of side window

32" floor to roof

48" x 32" x 32" gives me 23.39^3 gross

or

48" x 16" x 32" ( 11.90^3 gross )

You need stuff that can play strong outside of tuning range. Something you can tune at 35 and play 25-60

so your saying i would need top of the like subs right ?

if thats the case, cant do it. as i need money for my bags setup,, paint,,body panels,, ect...

and no im not cheaping out on the subs just not going to spend $500 or more on 1 sub.

what i may have to do is get 1 sub at a time as thats what im going to do with the amps.

o as for amps im getting 1 per sub ( sq 2200 )

so im leaning to a wall with ether 15"s or 18" and leaning on the 18" . but not sure if i have enough room for 4-18" i should have enough doing 4-15"

or maybe just doing a box from floor to bottom of side window ( 16" ) . so it would be 16" x 32" x 48"

and putting 4- 15" in it. having subs up center port back.

i like having this much space but on the other hand cant figure out what to do lol......

and im planing this one out so ill be stock oiling everything ill need and ripping everything out of my truck late spring. as i want to cut my floor over my rear as im bagging it, plus im going to make a battery rack. its going right behind the rear and in front of the gas tank. i can get 6 full size batterys under there.

i have so far....

4- sheets of 3/4 birch p/w

10 pound box of wood screws

1/8 angle iron ( for battery frame)

100ft of knu ofc 1/0 wire ( 80ft blue, 20ft black ) for now but getting more

8 KonFUSED High Current In-Line Fuse Holder

3- knu Krystal Kable rca ( 19.5ft )

2 boxes of q-mat ( 80 square feet )

also

bags for rear, lines, brackets

1/8" sheet metal 2- 2'x4' sheets also going to make new under hood battery holders ( going to mount 2 batterys on each side )

thats it for now.

need to order front bags,, line..

interior panel dye ( paint for panels ) as im going black on black on black ( murdering it out )

and

subs

mono amps

mlv, ( stuff for sound deadening )

He bought the subs for like 150 each or something. Cone area ftw


Hell my wife's pioneer spl3000 12s get hella low and nutty in a trunk with just two of them. I'm sure 6 of them in a wall would play hella low.

Random idea. Find someone who makes custom subs and see if they will do free/cheap labor of building them if they make you 4(or however many you want) of the same ones. Throw their name on the dustcap or on the wall itself. I used to race 4 banger circle track ministocks. You wouldnt believe how much cool **** i got from going around and asking if diff business would sponsor me.

Throw their sticker on the car, Get free ****.....What im trying to say is sponsorship is great.

He's talking low and having range. I take that as having a flatter response. Something you have output playing every frequency you have it band passed to play. Yes if you just wants 40hz or 35hz and under that's not hard. Or if he wants 40hz and up that's not hard. If he wants both it's going to cost.

It's all about the enclosure. The pioneers in my wife car play from mid 20hz-50hz before falling off and there cheaper woofers.
