What would happen?

I thought of this today and wondered what would happen. I have a JL 12w7 with a 500/1 on it for now. I just happen to have a spare 500/1 just laying around. Lets say I were to hook both up. Of course I would have to set both amps the exact same but then connect both speaker outputs to the sub. Would this work or would everything just blow up?

it would work if you had one amp percoil and they were exstatcly the same.

According to the manual, you can configure them in a "master/slave" configuration so that the settings on one amplifier control all the amplifiers connected to it, but it doesn't appear you can physically strap the outputs.

Anyways, to the original question.....I don't see how that'd work since the 12w7 only has one coil, and the 500/1's aren't strappable. In my estimation....it's not possible for you to do without risking damage to some equipment.
