Well i am selling most of my audio to restore this and get back into competing next year hopefully.
Stage 1 of the restoration - I am currently doing this now, Truck is getting a 351w, bored .030 with cam and all the goodies, hoping to make 400hp @ the crank and would love to see 500hp. The stock C4 has been replaced with a C6 which will get a shift kit and a new stall convertor. I will be doing new shocks and springs, taking the blocks out, adding a driftshaft loop and getting the driveline and all built and dependable so i can drive it. She will also get 15x8 and 15x10 blaack wagon wheels with some nice rubber to stick in those stepside wheel wells.
Stage 2 - Body work. She needs cab corners, cab mounts, hinge post repair, floor boards, patch panels on the bed and such. I will be going with a house of kolors blue or toyota extreme blue and the interior dash and such will be painted to match. I will find an original tail gate, the sunroof will be removed.
Stage 3 - Finishers. I will be going with a set of 1975 grill inserts, I am going to make a custom wood bed for it since the last owner just tossed a piece of ply wood back there, i will be getting original tail lights, original back window, and she will get a nice co-ax or component set of my soundstream and maybe an SA-8 behind the seats. Might put a set of leather mustang buckets in as well.
