Stick to Titebond or Elmers. Personally I use Titebond II, but have used Elmers in the past with good results.
Have you tried using the subfloor adhesives I listed? I've tested the strength before by gluing a 90* corner, just held together by a couple of brad nails. That GE adhesive you listed, I have never personally used. I used to work in the construction industry, and we sold that exact adhesive. A lot of the framers complained about the quality of it.Have you tried using the subfloor adhesives I listed? Not to mention I hate titebond compared to the subfloor adhesive I use...it sets too quick and just isn't near as strong, from my experiences.
