what will be louder off my 1500d?

atm i am running 2 12" type r's off my 1500d at 1ohm. i have recently been given the go ahead from the mrs so will be getting 2 12" aq hdc3s VERY soon //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif. i like to do my upgrades piece by piece so after the new subs ill be grabbing another 1500d to strap to the pair of hdc3's. now the question is... while i wait on the upgrade of my 2nd 1500d, which setup will slam harder? will do drop in test with same box as it would be a good 3.5-4.5^3ft box tuned in the mid to high 30's. so until then which setup do you guys think or know for those with experience, will sound louder off 1500rms? thx!

like said above. power the aq's with recommended power and it wouldnt be a contest imo.

cmon any other opinions? i find it hard to believe the r's would out do the hdc3s even if the power would be only bout 800watts going to each for now.

R's will win by a stretch on that much power.....

If you ever double the power the hdc3's and R will be close in output, the hdc3's will just handle the power better....
