well i understood that part... but i dont know what side hes going for???
im still stuck on those rockfords though.....

im finding good reviews on them

The RF's appear to be kinda cheap just going by the physical look of them.

Not to mention I've never heard a RF comp set that I liked...tweets were always too harsh for me.

what makes you not "thrilled with Phoenix Gold".... the RSD's are great for the money, great midbass, bright clear highs but not overly harsh and nice clear midrange. I'm not just saying this off of reviews I've read or anything I owned them and loved my set

reviews on mainstream products are almost pointless

well, see the thing here is that i was going off reviews from people that have owned them. Not just going off what you guys think, but what you guy think matters too. But i havent liked any of the suggestions given to me. And i can tell you that id never go with the two you suggested. Sometimes i dontt understand why you guys rip on mainstream stuff... they got that way for a reason. And i might get killed here but id love to own JL audio cause i love the way there stuff sounds, but i dont want to pay there price for JL

well, lets see. lanzar, ive had amps and subs ive bought cheap that ive been disaapointed in, so i wouldnt spend 120 for some speakers made by lanzar

blank is almost the same way, ive had there subs.

Almost every brand has high end, middle of the road budget stuff, and crap, the sad thing is alot of people buy the crap, and think the whole brand is sh!t..

Lanzer Optidrive stuff is very good quality stuff, not that vibe crap or whatever its called

if you're worried about reviews from people who have owned them, do a google on the PG RSDs and you'll see they are great budget speakers, I don't think I've ever seen a negative review. As for the other 2 I've never owned or heard them myself but they look like they're worth a try

what do we think about re audio speaker? i had some 05 SE subs and loved them, but i dont know about too much new RE
