i currently have a re audio sx 15 dual voice coil 2ohm and a hifonics 2008d amp the spec for the amp are 1ohm =2000rms 2-ohms=1300 rms 4-ohms=650rms how can i get my amp and subwoofer to hit the maximum without wreckin the sub and if i hook it up to 4ohm is that 650 rms per voice coil or the total for both Thanks

Just wire all the positives together and all the negatives together on the amp and set your gain's right. That will give you the 1ohm load. You also have to factor in box rise and the fact the Hifonics amps are said to be a little over rated so even at 1ohm you would probably more realistically get around 14-1500rms which is perfect for that sub. When I had my 12" SX it took my MTX 1501 like a champ and those are said to do around 1800-2200@1ohm.
