What university...

I went to the University of Oklahoma for 2 years. Not a bad school, but I hated the large, stadium seating style classes, and I always got classes that were taught by teachers assistants, I hate that crap. When I was going to pay for the Fall semester of my 3rd year, the tuition cost shot up, so I didn't bother. I transfered to the University of Central Oklahoma. Loved it. Smaller classes, all taught my professors (oddly, some from the University of Oklahoma), very cheap tuition.

I think for OU, you needed a 24 ACT and 3.0GPA from HS. I don't know what UCO's requirements were since I transfered.

BTW, OU was $1400 or so a semester for 12 credit hours in 2000/2001. Now I hear its almost $3000, for in state.

Go to a school you can afford and has the programs you are looking for, don't go to a school for stupid crap like "I like the football team". First day of classes at OU, professor asks all of us Freshman why we are attended OU. Some said its close by, others said there parents went there, some had a scholarship, and one genious said "I like the football team", even though he wasn't on it.

lol deff not going to any school for there football team seeing that im not a die hard football fan and can live without football, but I am going for learning and that is what I was worried about with a lot of colleges. I don't want to be in a class with 100 students because then the teacher will not be able to help me much. Im looking for a school that will have smaller classes and be able to get a good education from good professors.

Thats why I didn't like OU. Some stuff was nice, like a good variety of people and the types of clubs available, that was a plus. But in class, I felt like some idiot, sitting around and writing endlessly what the "professor" puts up on an overhead projector. WTF am I learning from this? How to copy text off the wall? I bought the freaking $150 textbook already, TEACH me about what I am already reading in the book! I felt like it was a waste of 2 years. I didn't feel like I learned anything. Felt at home at UCO though, really enjoyed going there.

Thats the main thing, you have to enjoy where you go, if not, you will freaking go crazy!

I went to UMASS Amherst. Great cheap school if you know exactly what you want out of your education. I didn't, so I just ****ed off and dropped out. But that place was great for a self-motivator.

I went to MTSU...easy to get in...

Nice for the alumni support in the community....which leads to jobs, which is the real purpose for going to school, not that stupid expanding your mind BS.
