what tools

hey guys i wana build a small box for a 8 inch sub. i have some smaller sheets of mdf around my house. i would need to pick up a new drill thats fine. i know i need some glue screws etc etc. i know i need a clamp or 2 and mayb 2 horse's to hold the wood when i make some cuts. i wana know if i can just get a jigsaw to make all the cuts? or should i get a basic hand saw for the bigger cuts and use the jigsaw for the sub cut out. thanks

Ya cant make the straight cuts with a jigsaw. You will need a circular saw at least. If ya can get access to a table saw that would be better. But a circular saw for the straight cuts and a jig saw for the circles, glue, screws, clamps are always good. Thats about it.

im gona head off to bed so if anyone can come up with a list so i can just pull this off. i dont mind to spend some time to sand. if u guys think a basic hand saw can get the bigger cuts done thats cool. keep in mind this is for a 8 inch sub and i have smaller sheets there would b just some trimming that would have to b done. i would not have to cut down a full sheet of mdf at this time. thanks guys im gona go take a nap i guess. links would b bad *** to some cheap drill/jigs anything i can use.

A walmart skill jigsaw will work ok for the sub cutouts. A walmart skill circular saw would be ok for the straight cuts. If your going to build alot of boxes later you could always setup to a plunge router and jasper circle jig along with a table saw. I never like saw horses, esp. when working with a full sheet. What i did was buy a bunch of 2x4's and built a 4x8ft table to lay the whole sheet down on and to work off of( just like the one the bonesnijia made). Works great and only costed me around $16 to make.

Aviod the basic hand saw imo.

im about the build my first enclosure for a 12" sub. i remember seeing the wood rings for guidance, i looked around and have had no luck, any help?

what clamps should i get? i see some people use one that u can open and it like 2-4 feet long looks like thats the best one to get but would cost at least 20.00 for 1. i wana do the back of the box and then the sides so what would work best im in no rush to get the box done so what would work best for a box for one single 8 inchs ported? thanks my luvs
