What to use?

I recently purchased a 1994 Impala SS. The car is bone stock except for a 6 disk CD changer. I have a Alpine CDA 78-73 HU, but have yet to instal it. I also have two MTX 4250 D series amps and two MTX 6000's 12'', also yet to be installed. My question is this, should I stick with what I got, or sell it, and purchase diff. subs/amps? I ask this because I'm afraid it is not going to be enough to thump in my car, cause lets face it, its a big car with a huge *** trunk. I plan on making a fiberglass box so I dont wanna go ahead and use what I got, and be dissapointed with the results, and have to build another box.

So any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

I paid 8 grand, I also forgot to mention they have 17'' American Racing 5 spoke wheels.

what kind of budget you have? what kind of setup you looking for?

Well the new impalas are crap. For ex. front wheel drive, V6, UGLY!!. LOL

My budget, hmm...what's reasonable? No more than 2G I guess. Or is that too little to expect to get anything decent? Just give opinions and a price estimate if you can please. Also is what I have not going to cut it?

I was thinking about adding a 1000W amp and 2 more 12's. Maybe

for your info 3.8's are great engines. anyways you can get a great system for $2000. $350-pioneer 8600 headunit. DLS C6 components-$170 Kicker kx1200.1 -$450 kicker 350.2- $225 1 15" brahma-$400 add sound deadner, wire, box materials etc.

X@ on the new impalas---ugly *** cars---gotta go with the big body like you got--the local caddy dealer has a 96 black one freakin sweet but they want 16 grand(19,000 miles)
