What to upgrade first? Alternator, upgrade current battery, or add a battery for 2k+

Decided its time to upgrade the system, im looking to run between 2k-3.5k on my new XFL subs, but when i upgrade my amp to at least 2k+ i want to have the electrical to back it up, but i don't know what to upgrade first. I have a decent little stock 136amp alt, so im kinda leaning toward the battery options. But im looking for others opinions. I actually dont know what kind od batteries to look for either and/or if i should just upgrade the under the hood battery first.

so under the hood battery first? what kind of battery am i looking for? i am wanting atleast a AGM, right? i see most people compare them by "amps hour" assuming more is better. Are there other factors to look at when comparing batteries? I not looking to spend to much, a lot of people like the Deka intimidator batteries

The Deka batts are fine. If under the hood. You want the biggest you can fit I the back then a 9a31 or 8a31

I'd say bigger alt first due to previous experience. Big 3 with alt install because lets say you upgrade the battery with stock alt. Eventually you'll start getting voltage drops if you play it long enough since the alt can't keep up with the battery. Or you can always turn the bass down till your whole electrical system is up to par

I don't know that everyone does it this way but here is my order of things.

1. Change factory battery under hood to the biggest AGM you can fit.

2. Upgrade Alternator and do Big 3/4

3. Add additional batteries
