what to tune to

im looking for a good freq. to tune to for daily driving.i have heard 2 different freq. they were 28hz and 38hz. when i listened to 28hz it got low but on high notes the doorspeakers played better and on 38hz the lows were lacking.i have only owned sealed boxes and they do good on all freq.i want to be louder and i know ported is.my ? is, is there a way to build a ported box that will do good from 20-80hz and not play certine freq better and others worse?
