What to tune a box for one 12" Cvr's.

I have a box that is 1.67 cubes. Is it possible to slot port this or should I just run it sealed. If I can slot port it, what do I need to tune it at. What would be the difference between 32hz and 40hz?

you can port it but its not a very good sub to port, it likes sealed better

youll get more output ported and more down low at 32hz vs 40hz

a pretty good way to tell if a sub likes sealed vs ported, is divide its Fs by its Qes

if you get around 50 or less, it likes sealed. around 100 or more it likes ported. in the middle, it should do nice sealed or ported
