What to look for when diagnosing an amplifier?

Haha, its good the amp is ok. I'd rather feel like an idiot than have broken equipment
Haha yeah no kidding. The amp isn't doing much right now to be honest. I have a JL 12w6 hooked up to it on the sub channel @ 2 ohms right now, its rated at 400 @ 1 ohm on the sub channel, so probably 250W @ 2 ohms?

Don't really have any components that I can hook it up to.

Probably try selling it on here pretty soon //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Having a spaghetti of wiring just laying around isn't good. On a side note, at least it was somewhat user fault than the amp being bad.

Also.....thought it was the "big" belle amp. Completely forgot about the baby one, which is difficult to find. (my bad)

9 times outta 10 someone will say check your connections 1st. Kinda go back over retrace your steps.
