what to get?

I am willing to spend around $250-300 on sub and amp. Im looking for alittle sq and spl. I just gave my lil bro my old system which i had was id12v3 and pg amp. Now i just want a lil more spl than i had with my old system. Im thinking of this single sub setup what yall guys think? Im up for any suggestion. Im looking at a single 12 would do good for me.

I've heard bad things about Ikesound...

If you're looking for SPL with a hint of SQ, I'd recommend one of the cheap Alpine Type Rs off ebay for $125 shipped. Spend another $125 rest of a good amp that does right around 750-1000 watts at the impedance the sub needs. The other $50 should go into building a big ported box for it.
