Dude. Make her a little book with hand drawn shitty pictures of inside jokes. I do that a couple times a year coupled with some roses, a CD or movie she's been wanting, and her favorite, a small cookie cake. I usually hide it somewhere and present it to her after a nice dinner out. For her 18th birthday though I kinda went all out and bought her a $400 ring. Might not sound like alot for some of you on here, but she understood how many sacrifices I had to make to give up $400.

If you wanna get laid, do this:
Get 30 candles

Get dozens of roses

Find a time when ur g/f leaves the house,and then put rose petals from the door all the way to her room, and then have the lit up by candles, and have a nice hot bath drawn with rose petals floating on it, and roses all around the bed, and then write her a nice letter and leave it w/ a rose on her bed.

Goto the store bro.. buy a Calendar (one your girl will actually put up).. THEN for everyday on the calendar write a reason telling her why you love her.. This might take awhile.. but trust me man.. it works! Basically.. everyday she wakes up.. she will have that calendar up on her wall.. giving her a reason to look forward to her day.. (don't let her peek at them ahead of time.. Hey man, if ya still live in Red Bluff, plan a trip to the coast or something. For my gf's bday, I took her on a trip to Redding, spent two days in a motel room, just the two of us, no family nothing. A change of scenery does a relationship wonders. It did get a little spendy, but we won $800 at Win River, so that paid for the trip, as well as the gift certificate for a full body massage, and the hot tubs.
