Don't try to buy her heart. Get something simple, not-expensive, and that means something. We can't really tell you. It's like an inside joke, but rather an inside gift. Get something that relates to you two. Maybe something that will remind her of you every time she looks at it. already did this one, u get points for it. Get an oval locket though, its "classic". Which means better than a heart i guess...

You could also find out what her favorite toy/doll (prolly from her mom) whatever was back in the day and pick one of those up on ebay, and more than likely for quite cheap.

If you wanna get laid, do this:

Get 30 candles

Get dozens of roses

Find a time when ur g/f leaves the house,and then put rose petals from the door all the way to her room, and then have the lit up by candles, and have a nice hot bath drawn with rose petals floating on it, and roses all around the bed, and then write her a nice letter and leave it w/ a rose on her bed.
