what to get, 12's- 10's

ok right now i guess i should go with the ssd's...i want to hit realyl low and loud should i shoot for 2 10's, 1 12 or 1 15 all ported.

Tc1k's are only rated at 400 rms or so and the ssd's at 800..not really a good comparison..

go for 2 10s

more cone area than the single 12, and you can give them more power combined than either single sub.

= louder and lower.

yeah i kind of wanted a 2 sub setup and i think my trunk right now would be able to get the right box for the 2 10's... what should tuning be to get what i want...

btw does anyone in the chicago area have ssd's that i might be able to hear?

flatwind coil increases power handling a little. Copper coil increases sound quality

Depends on what your goals are. Personally, I would just get the copper coil to increase SQ. I talked to Scott a while back and he said that the SSD with the copper coil actually has SQ approaching the Q. I'd look into a different amp though. Hifonics amps are generally overrated. Look for something that does a genuine 2000w, just to give yourself some headroom.

Also, you can only get the copper coil OR the flatwind coil, not both

He actually said that?? Because the last I saw he said that they would start shipping once ALL full payments are received.

I know he was asked whether they would start shipping once 12 full payments were received and he said that he would ask Nick. Have not seen an update on that.

I also know that there are some that are waiting to see what the final answer on this shipping question is going to be before they decide whether to buy.

your right^^ i thought he said that but i misread...he said he hopes to have it sent out on the 16th but it will when the payments are recieved...

i got the mag for 325 though...i cant complain at all

Well the price is not bad, but it would be nice to know that once there have been 12 full payments received there will be no delays in shipment.
