what to get, 12's- 10's

well im thinking about getting the 4 db-500's but im not sure if ill be able to get a box in my trunk...so what are some other suggestions, with maybe 2 12's about 350 shipped? or should i just go along with ther db-500's and call it a day...btw i want them new

it will most likely be running on the hifonics 1500d too, running at 1 ohm

Why no Fi? Outstanding build quality, low prices, and GREAT customer service. I even had the owner offer to customize a woofer so that it would fit behind the seat of my truck and still have the output and sound quality I wanted.

if you do, make sure you upgrade to the competition package. Aluminum cones FTL

ok... this is like my 5th time thinking/changing after reading everything..since i would be getting thie sub for christmas should i just pay the extra money this would be and get a 12'' full loaded BTL?...well i know this answer from all of you and i know how great they are, i just dont want that buyers remorse after getting so much money into something i dont want to be dissapointed and feel guilty for "wasting" money on something im not completely 1000000% satisifed with...

Whats wrong with aluminum cones? Ever have a Pepsi can and break it open, and then take a piece of aluminum and bend it back and fourth numerous times...what happens? Thats the problem with high excursion drivers with aluminum cones.

make you sure you have enough power, and a good electrical system first. no point in payin that much for a sub that you cant even power properly. right now if were you i would just go with the ssd's. and people are saying aluminum cones are bad becuase there have been problems with the cones tearing away from the surrounds.
