WHat to do?

my friend has 2 12 inch type r's with an amp to each. I want to out bump him but i only have JL W0's with a kicker 500.2 amp. I want to go louder! what would you suggest me to get for around 700-750 bucks?

People have told me 1 15 inch W3v2 with an alpine 501 amp?

Suggestions or Ideas?

that's a lil above ur budget, but there are other amps and stuff out there..

Definitely use a ported enclosure...tune somewhere around 30-35Hz. That would maximize output for a given power level, and if your friend is running a sealed box, give you more of an edge.

my entire system came off of ebay, as long as you deal with actaul ebay stores and not personal sellers youll be ok.

Do a price search on what mrray suggested. I am positive you can find that for less as my partner at work is looking at exactly the same thing for his supra.

****edit***Ohh wait I take that back it was two 12" L5's each for like $125 shipped.
