I agree, it wouldn't hurt at all. I know I took several videos at various manufacturers I have worked for. However, on the same hand I had some come in there were tore down and rebuilt with a quick test in a box and back out in less then a day. Which makes taking the time to take a video or even remembering to do so a bit hard.Obviously in a typical transaction videos aren't exactly proof, but these are forums and if he took a quick video of what was wrong like you said maybe it was something mechanical or stuck in the gap.
Also, video of sending out bstock subs wouldnt be a bad idea for a business, either.
