my brother has an '07 megacab with 4-12" solobaric L7's in a sealed box behind the backseat with about 1.4 cu.ft. per sub.it's spl is in the mid 140's with the peak frequency being around 53hz.would like it to be lower.he is considering doing 2-15" cvx's in a ported box tuned in the low 40's to high 30's.with about 3cu.ft. per sub.

want to know if a bigger box for the 12's or if the 2-15's ported would be the better way to go?

the only problem i see with porting the 4-12's is getting the airspace needed and keeping the box below the window line .too stay in the stock class
