what to do with speakers

From my old car, I have a pair of JL Audio 6.5 XR drivers (no tweets or crossovers). I'm thinking to maybe put them in a box and stick them in my trunk next to my sub for some extra mid-bass punch. Good idea? Bad idea? What size box? Any better ideas what to do with the drivers?

I'm already running JL 6.5 components up front, 6.5 coax's in rear, and a sub in the trunk.

its sounds like a good idea but, i dont think you will even hear them if they are in the trunk and if you have a sub, it would probably just be a waste of power

most people put midbass driver like that in the cab to draw the bass up front.

I dont see how it would do you any good in the trunk, because mixing subs is a bad idea

Would it then be worth it to put them either on the floor in the back, or under the front seats (if they fit?)
