What to do for sql?

Well im going to be purchasing something soon, im just not sure what. Im mainly after sound quality, but I would like it to get loud when i must. I was originally thinking four unfinity 1240's sealed, but after making a ported box for an 8", im thinking two 12's(maybe type-r's or somewhere around the price of 120) ported would be enough. Theyll be going in 91 deville so size isnt too limited. I listen to rock/metal and would probably tune a ported box to around 33-34. How would these two options compare in terms of SQ and loudness. You really can't go wrong with type R's.

Type Rs will be louder than the D3s. SQ is something someone else cant find for you, u gotta experience for yourself and go from there. imo 32hz is a nice median

Ok, in that case im guessing im going with the type-r's with about 600 watts to each. I think that will do just fine and get pretty loud.
