Adjusting my phoenix gold amp for my sub. Should I set the FREG. first or the SENS. or the BASS. Which should be higher. I know the bass can harm the speaker. and It seems to sound better with the FREG. higer.

first adjust the sensitivity buy takeing all of the bass out of your stereo and the turn it up untill you hear a little distortion then stop and turn it down past the distortion then turn your sensitvity on your amp up till you hear distortion the back it down then you can adjust the bass and the frequency.
