What the best and VERY cheapest way of lowering your suspension or you car?

Ebay you get ST lowering springs for like 80 bucks! Or just add a **** load of subs in there. The clamps **** period. You are better off just torching them, or you can heat them up and add a bunch of weight evenly on the front and the springs will comress and then allow them to cool and then do the rear. The springs will be a little brittle but its a popular method.

Ive read its possible to just heat them but seems hard to get the proper drop on both sides. If you just cut the stock ones, is the only drawback that it will be bouncier?

jcwhitney sells spring compresser things....
also muffler clamps work quite well...had them on my crapalier when i was young n stupid...worked fine,,,i used 2 per spring(rear only)

p.s. if you ever decide to take them off if is a beotch and i'd suggest a sazaw(?) w/ plenty of blades or a tourch....i used a tourch, way to rusty:(
so they worked for you? was it any problems to you?
