what subs?

currently i have 2 12'' mtx 5500's in the ported thunder enclosure off a directed 2400d at 2 ohms (800rms).

i would like to use the same amp.

alot of these i have never heard except for the 12'' type r that wasent porterd. and 7500 that wasent gettin enough rms. also a 12'' l7, but very small enclosure.

my options:

2 12'' type r's (1200rms total)

2 12'' mtx 7500's (1200rms total)

1 15'' l7 (1200rms)

1 15'' type r (1200rms)

1 12'' mtx 9500 (800rms)

i have about 5 cubes to work with and am gonna go ported with w/e setup.

also can a 12'' 7500 take 600 rms seeing they are 400rms, because my 55's off 400 a piece get stinky

Why not MTX 9500 on 1200wrms?

because the lowest i can wire a 95, is to 2 ohms

my amp only puts out 800rms at 2 ohms

thoes 9500's are some pretty nice drivers. I would look into that and maybe a diffrent amp. 800 watts is nothing to joke about, I'm sure a 9500 would hop with that.

well yea but considering the fact the i can unlock my amp to 1 ohm with correct vc setup, and get 1 ohm(1200rms) over the 800rms.

one of the other setups has to be louder

right?

7500 series should easily be able to handle 600 each btw

why not type r's, they are cheap and get loud
