What subs will make the most of my Alpine M1000?

So ive been trying several setups and havent yet decided what i liked the best, so id like you guys input. The setup im running now is 2 cheaper 15"s on about 1k, and its loud as hell to me, but i feel i can do better considering the subs are cheap. Ive already had one quit on me so im gonna sell them before i get any more problems and they cost me more money.

I bought some PB 12"s from a member and im gonna build a box for them probably 4 cubes @ 35 or so and see how i like that, maybe subs/port back or subs up/port back. I liked the response of the 12"s i had before moreso than the 15"s now.

I also have some MA audio 10"s on the same amp, they got down for 10"s, but still wasnt impressed. Had those in 3 cubes tuned to 38. Ill use those when traveling and i need trunk space though.

So im thinking basically my choices are narrowed down to a pair of 15" or 18" drivers, because since i have room for 15"s or 18"s i can gain output by more cone area right?

Some things that interested me were the MJ-18"s by mach 5, and the SE 15"s from RE. Im basically looking to spend no more than 350 on a decent pair of subs, and get as loud as possible with that 350. I think right now im leaning toward the MJ18s as ive heard alot of good things about them. What would you guys do with the power i have to work with?
