Sup,

Just got my JBL BP1200.1, blew my Hollywood ED1224 in 30 mins //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif Rest in peace lil buddy //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

So now I gotta get something new. I'm more of a SQ type of guy, dun't listen to the rap.

Any suggestions on the SUB I should get? I'm looking at about $200 MAXIMUM to spend so anything underthat would be cool and also I am only going to push ONE sub. I only have a single sealed box and I'm not gonna buy another one.

Any suggestions are appreciated //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

to me it seems like the wrong amp for an sq woofer... unless you run a sealed box at 4 ohms or something... arent those amps like 600w rms @ 4 ohms

Yea its 1200 at 2ohm and 600 at 4ohm. There is a 1100RMS audiobahn sub but everyone hates audiobahn and I'm thinkin thats not the best way to go. BTW I already have a 12" sealed box, I just need a sub because I blew up my last one.

dont get audiobahns if u said you like SQ. i have 2 audiobahn 12's and they get decent loud but sound like walking crap in the process. im saving up for a XXX 15. look at a phoenix gold ti 12. or maybe an alpine type R? but that might be to much power.

Ye, the dood who sold me my Hollywood ED1224D is gonan sell me another one for $110 shipped //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif So ima just swoop on that. Hopefully it wont blow up this time //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif And I like SQ but I guess my hollywood was SPL and I liked the sound of it so //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif You can't go wrong with carbon fiber //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

My bad, yes, I read them each as having two 4ohm coils. The JBL diagram left a bit to be desired, IMO. ;) And a double yes, thought U was talking...

So you have an 800 watt sub (1600 is a peak spec, ignore it) the SVR-10 - 800 RMS dual 2VC ohm wired in parallel for a 1 ohm load paired with an...

thanks DB, that definitely helps swallowing a $300 price tag 😂 these would essentially be running midbass for me too

What is your budget? With being exposed to Rain.. I would recommend looking at a marine grade SAS Bazooka for the sub stage
