What router to get?

whatever kind you get, i recommend a plunge router. works great for cutting the holes. just pick you up a nice one from home depot or lowes. We just bought a ryobi one from hd like a month ago and it has 3 year warranty on it through hd. its a pretty nice router, it ran us 100 bucks.

Those Ryobi routers are nice also for the price.
 
buck for buck, the ryobi routers are good. i have the ryobi re180pl plunge router and it hasn't given me a single problem. i got it for around $85 on sale at home depot. while you're at, i would recommend getting the jasper jig to go with the your router. it's a very usefull tool.

 
Speaking of Sears...dont they have lifetime warranty on ALL their tools. I have a table saw from there that no longer works and will probably take it back at the same time.
