You beat me to it, check the motor width 6.25" a SE or 6.5" a SX.

you should be able to see the coil by looking in the vents on the side. if it is flat wound coil it is sx or round wound se.

It's been a long time but i have had 5 SE motors, and none have had that big of a pole ventor that big of a concave slope leading into the vent.

I put a Phoenix Gold Octane R15.0:1 on it and I don't think the RE can handle it,it started stinkin,like some Kickers I had in the past.Do you guys thinks it's because my subs are wired wrong?I thought this sub would handle it.

That looks like an '05-'06 RE SX. The SE's had the goofy little round logo above the 'RE'.

I wouldn't give it much more than 1kw for long periods of time. I seem to recall them not being able to handle more than their RMS for very long. Great subs for the $$$ tho! My 12 was great, it slammed and only didn't need much space at all. I had an SX15 for a little while but never got around to giving it real power.

I wonder what these go for now used. I remember selling mine for ~ $185.

That is definitely an SX. And they will handle 12-1500rms easy daily.

Now that's the million dollar question.I think i'm going to go get a multimeter and test it out,never did that before,how do I hook it up to the sub.

That's a 1500w amp by the way @ 1 ohm. It will take 1200-1500w if you're extremely careful. If you're going to beat on it, I wouldn't give it more than 1kw.

Should be Dual2 ohm coils.

Red Terminal = Red Probe

Black Terminal = Black Probe
