What r "good" SQ subs?

Just out of curiosity what subwoofers/ brands are considered to be the ones that are geared toward sq.....off the top of my head i remeber hearing alot about

Is this for a particular install? If so, what are your goals and budget?

 

There are plenty of brands that have purpose built sound quality sub woofers.

Image Dynamic Subs are awsome SQ Subs. They play low and clean.

Eclipse aluminum's are pretty nice

but for reals: Hertz, ID, AP Revo, RD Classics, Sundown SA-12, RE SE, W6, FI Q...many to choose from, just need a Budget, Amp (if you have one already), vehicle..

These companies that ive heard have made subs more for SQ-SQL.

What is a SQ Sub???

To me a SQ sub is more of when i can play anytypes music & you dont have that distortion in the upper bass notes-cone break up, if you could compare each sub side by side you would be able to hear what might sound right for the type of music you listen to.
