What qualities make a good IB midbass speaker?

I always seem to hear the phrase "high qts drivers work well in IB"...yet I see some people claiming that they have had better results with drivers with a low qts. Other than the qts argument, I really haven't found much info on what specifically makes a speaker good for IB use in front doors, for example.

Can the experts/more experienced help me out?
