what Port size?

Hey peeps...I have a 12" cvr in a square 1.69cu.ft box....I would like to port the box, facing towards the back of the box....do you guys think it could work? Give me the port diameter and length...I'm planning on making a other box and getting possibly a other sub....I never made a ported box before...always made sealed ones...I need your help

look for a 4 inch aeroport. think a slot would use up way too much airspace. whats the box dimensions

well, those dimensions come up to 1.1 cube- sub you got a cube. your going to need to build a larger box... bout 2 cubes after port and sub displacement. so lxwxd divided by 1728 should equal bout 2.75 if using a slot port, 2.4 orso if using a 4 inch round port.
