i though a Labyrinth is another name for a transmission (sp?) line box, and that pic is not a transmission line box.
No... it's not.

Transmission depends on t/s param's alot more the a simple Helmholtz resonator.

And Labyinth is slang for bended / folded port.

You could try to make the port longer, but there might be other reasons with the box won't extend lower, or even the sub. You'd have to reverse...
