LOL I dont really care how the rims turn out cause I am gonna be upgrading later. As for the trim. I would want the trim to be perfect so you cant even tell it use to be ugly clad gray. I cant get it done perfect by myself.Lol, that would look terrible in my opinion. And I agree with everyone that said paint that crappy looking gray trim before doing the rims. It will cost the same and IMO would look 1234125 times better than leaving the trim and painting the rims. Why do you think you wont mess up the rims but you will mess up the trim?
Why not at least get it close on your own? Then if you dont like it, get it professionally done later? Im sure a 3 year old with some black crayons could make it look better than how it looks now. I say, do the trim on your own, and save up for new rims.LOL I dont really care how the rims turn out cause I am gonna be upgrading later. As for the trim. $20.00 too much for jackstands?LOL Now if I had a jack that can lift up the whole front or rear now that would be easier. The jack the comes with the car only jacks up one tire. So Id have to do all 4 tires seperatley.
what a grand idea...just do em both. you're going to spend more money gettin it all done later or upgrading to nicer rims in your case...i don't see why u don't just wait? up to u broWhy not at least get it close on your own? Theres alot more to it then just that. Sanding, priming, more sanding, paint, clear, which I have no expierence with painting. Why not at least get it close on your own? LOL ****! Your like the 20th person to mention that. I am not gonna take up money and time to **** up my bumpers. Painting the bumpers would take ALOT more work then painting the rims. It would be IMPOSSIBLE for me to get an EXACT color match/clear coat/stock look on my bumpers without getting it done professionally. Like posted about I am gonna be ditching the stocks when I get some real rims. Thats why I dont care how they turn out as long as there black.I think if you are going to paint the rims, you need to paint the front and rear bumpers as well.........
