i run 114 in my quad....yamaha yfz-450... 101 in my 79 chevy pickup with a built 350 and 87 in my stock 94 chevy 350.....

higher octane sometimes is better in the winter time because the air is more dense and higher octane runs richer... if you have a new car.. they've been made to run perfect off of 87..... if you have a high compression motor run higher... and they have new chips out there where you can optimize your engine to run off of 87..

the truck gets 91. the town car gets 89. the camaro gets 110. the honda gets 110. the dirt dragster gets methanol

i have to run 91 with at least one bottle of octane boost to keep from detonating like a mutha. i'm only running 9.5:1

My Cougar has about a 12:1 compression ratio. It will do with 92, but arguably prefers 97 or better.

My Tbird runs nothing less than 89 with the ECU Mods.

My Mustang also runs nothing less than 89 due to recent porting work on the engine.

my car does not prefer less than 93, but 91 will go in occasionally,

 

due to mods, my truck needs 89 or 92

I run 87 all the way in my 3.0L V6 Grand Caravan. I filled up with 91 a couple times and it didn't do anything for me.

I got an 04 concorde. The manual calls for 89 which is mid grade here. I've used it thus far, but I've only have the car long enough for like 2 tanks.
