what needs unhooked to charge batts?

what all i do i need to unhook from my batteries to charge the bank? i have been pulling off any wire not leading to another battery, but can i save myself some time here?

i guess i didnt think it would be good to be sending current through my electrical components without them being on.

I have never had a problem charging with it all connected, but if you're worried I would say just unhook the ground.

Amp, alt, and electrical components are made to have current go threw them. So even though they are not using it ( Not on ), there should be no reason it should hurt them.

If you ever run your engine with the stereo off, you are doing the same thing. You dont need to unhook your components.
