what more do I have to do to stop the rattles

I drive a 2000 mustang with 2 kicker L7 10's in the back i put Two Gallons of eDead v3 in the trunk and it did not work it still rattles and it is making me mad i called ed and Anthony at Second Skin ed had no clue as to why it was not working and Anthony seed that his product is made with different stuff so he was not 100% sure but he seed to put a mat over the v3 the reason i got the v3 was because of what ant had on his site saying that vibration damping liquid can be sprayed, brushed or rolled on to achieve damping results 3 times better than any asphalt mat on the market and that v3 and his product wood do the same thing When applied in equal thicknesses the Two Gallons of eDead v3 where sposted to do 50sq feet each that is 100sq feet in the trunk of a mustang and the rattles did not stop even a little bit and it has been on for over 2 Munts and i lit it dry over night between cotes what did i do wrong //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Ever heard of grammar? I can't read any of that garbage. And sound deadener isn't necessarily going to stop rattles, sometimes you just have to deal with them man.

the purpose of the flaps are to allow air to circulate in the trunk. Imagine if trunk was completly sealed, what a horror that would be, same air day in and day out, for months until you eventually use it, what will that smell like?

That my $0.02 on the trunk flabs, btw i have them on my car too.

The conclusion I can come to is that they are used to keep some sort of air circulation in the trunk area. I watched em one day open and close on a windy day. It appears to me they just enter out into the wheel well area. Im going to seal up mine. oh wait, I blew the motor in the car last night. F*uk it. hah

yeah that makes sense now i guess. other wise when you have the windows down the air wouldnt have anywhere to go, causing your car to drag a lil. or maybe not drag but you know what i mean. i cant think of the correct term right now lol. maybe ill just take mine out rather then sealing them up.

if your gonna take em out, definitely seal em up in my opinion. My trunk is open to my cab...and also you open your trunk so many times when you have a sub...It shouldnt be a problem.

Just a FYI, for your license plate, take like 4 or 5 pencil erasers and superglue em to the back. Then, bolt it up. No more rattling //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I use rolled up tape... I win.

I used liquid-deadener on my car, and still had some rattles. For the license-plate I put foam weather-stripping on the back of it. I also loosened the spioler-arms and put weather-stripping between them and the trunk lid. Now I have to figure out how to stop the rear-bumper itself from rattling.
