What mononlock for serious bass?

Hello fellow bassheads.

I know serious bass is objective. Lets say i want 140db to begin with.

I got a pg xenon 400.1 amp but it can apparently do 600w rms.

Im just wondering if its worth utilizing in my system?

Can i get some low 30hz ish bass if I build the box right with this thing? Thanks.

depends on your enclosure and cone area. its possible as long as you have an efficient setup that displaces a lot of air.

I think i could make it slam as long as my front stage isnt screaming at 120db

this is what is achievable on less than 400 watts all doors open. Will need a T line design from the man himself, CSCstang.

local guy chris did a box for. Had a cheapo 800 watt peak amp so i might be optimistic about the 400 rms assumption. two soundqubed hds208s

And that did over 140 huh? Wonder if I can do the same, in an ext cab t-line enclosure running 800 watts.

not 140 i dont think but mid to high 130s definitely. with op's amp, maybe close.

not a bad idea kid in fl with 800rms and 2 E12's is screaming how loud it is.. bstocks are $128 each.. won't flex though, but will sound great..

if we are talking about cone area here and you have a lot of space.... These 18s will be pretty gnarly.

dont forget loading and vehicle acoustics. Making sure there's no phase cancellation is going on.
