I bought the JBL GTO 1001 for $222 and a Powerbass ASABASS Optional Remote Bass Knob for $20.

Yup. I offered a fair price on that amp and I can get the matching bass knob. Gotta save a few bucks.

I read it works with other brand amps.

EDIT: I hooked everything up and the Powerbass bass knob does work with the JBL amp.
