What methods could be used to finish my kickpods?

What are some different finishes that can be applied to kickpods? I really don't want to sand and paint them, it'd be alot of trouble. I'd kind of like for them to have some sort of textured black look since ti will match my interior best. I've seen bedliner used but everywhere i can find the stuff it's very expensive. Any alternatives to this?

autozone i think sale a cheap bedliner, that probably would look pretty cool. Thats what i have all over my sub box.

bedliner isn't a real idea? Maybe u chould just carpet them with the same cloth as ur interior.
