The twin I had at school was BARELY long enough for me to be comfortable on.

My head was right by the headboard and I could easily touch my toes to the footboard.

I've got a queen size bed but luckily the room I'm in is fairly large. Were as at my parents place it took up half the room probably. I used to sleep on a futon, 6 months actually. It wasn't so bad but having a bed is just so much better. I want a new mattress though, I've been thinking about looking into those tempurpedic beds.
