For light home-owner use Delta would be a good bet. They are not very expensive and decent saws. Otherwise Makita or Dewalt is good but more expensive.Just wondering what kind of table saws you guys use. I am picking up a new one in a few days, and want something that won't cost a ton, but will get the job done well. Let me know if you guys have any great ideas.
Thanks,
Ben
i have this one, and like it alot, had a ryobi before this one and liked it to but it was 299 and didnt have the catcher/stand
Not the one with the rack-and-pinion fence.i work at lowes in the tool department and i like the delta and the hitachi. We have a delta for 350 and it is a beast. we also have a hitachi for 199 and another for 279 they are both portable and nice also. The dewalt table saws are over priced and the delta ones are much nicer for the price.
Not the one with the rack-and-pinion fence.
Also, how do you like the new-and-unimproved 'secured' genesis system.
