What kind of power/electrical upgrades do I need?

4 12" hdc3 subs on 4 aq2200d, alpine 9886, mids,highs etc. (not sure what kind) And an amp or amps for the mids and highs.

d2700 under the hood, i'd do 5 or 6 d3100's but 1 for each amp should be good and 3 or 4 runs of 1/0, with a 300 amp alt and big 3.

cant be overpowered lol, your system will only draw what it needs. 300amp alt, ALOT of 1/0 (3 runs of positive, 3 runs of neg) BIG primary battery, 4 powermaster 3100's or 4-6 Kinetik 2400's...

basically about $2000+ in electrical upgrades

I dont understand the runs of wiring? I figured 4 runs 1 to each amp? And will a 300 amp alt. be enough?

4-5 2400hcs and at least a 250 amp alt would get you going

Start with the alt.....250 for daily or 300 if you are competing. And like someone else suggested, I would do one battery per amp and maybe 1 extra as a reserve. All your runs should be 1/0 gauge runs. i would do welding wire, Kicker or Knukonceptz cable for those. 300 amp fuses on all of your power runs Expect to spend about 1500 or so before you even contact DJ.

You want as much electricity getting to the back as possible. Distribution blocks and a few runs. There was a car for sale on here with 600 feet of 1/0. lol. Never too much wire.

someone said at least a 400 amp alt. So a 300 will be plenty with around 10000 watts rms.

I have never seen a 400 amp alt. But then again I haven't been around much. I would PM Mechman on here and see what he would suggest would be best for your car. If you search the threads here you will see how highly recommended the alts are. He would more than likely have you a suggestion and price for your car by Monday.

300a alt with a good batt up front and 4 in the rear should be fine for a daily set up...
