What kind of HU does your girlfriend have?

mine has an old sony cdx-l510x cause the rca's on mine quit and i'm using the pioneer 4700 i bought her. it's only temporary until i get the deh-p880prs:woot:

dude get something simple and cheap.... they wont know how to do nothing with em but put a cd in and turn it up, chiks are always hittin buttons they have no idea wat they do, i picked out a kenwood kdc 2028 or somethin like that for my girl b/c there just simple and have no real way of messin up the sound lol

not all girls are that stupid nor ignorant;). if i gave my girl anything low end, she'd take it out herself as she knows how lol.

x2. but you should see some girls try to control my HT setup with the denon blue touch panel remote. my girl knows how **** works though.

 
My wife has the OEM double-DIN Blaupunkt AM/FM/CD that came in her car from the factory. As it is a work car the option to replace or upgrade it does not exist. But - for a brand new car that will get replaced with another when the current one has no more than 40,000 kilometers on it she doesn't much care what kind of stereo it has - so long as it will play burnt CDs.

My wife is a bit more practical. She cares very little forthe cosmetics of audio gear - she just wants it to work and be simple to operate. I guess that's why the OEM stuff in her Holden suits her fine. Plus- she has a hands-free deal for her phone that automatically mutes the radio when the phone rings and she likes that too.

Actually i was talking about my GF, after i posted i kinda figured u thought i was reffering to u, but my girl has OEM and wants something colorful and remote
