what kind of epoxy?

West system is wayyyyy too expensive for your project. Plus I think he is just attaching after market pods to his pillars. Use a 2 part epoxy. I'm a fan of the higher time high strenght ones instead of the shorter time ones. like use a 30 min one instead of a 1 min one. be sure to rough up the surfaces before gluing for max adhesion

i suppose it depends on your budget, i use tons of westsystem for all sorts of stuff so its what i personally use. I have never had one thing fail with west system which is why i use it. If your just tossing a aftermarket guage on the a piller and not making a new pod then you could probably get away with some plastic epoxy and a couple rivits or screws. You can pick the epoxy up at any auto parts store. If your looking for westsystem i buy mine at westmarine.

sweet!!! thanks guys...

i plan on extending my center console so i might get the westsystem stuff so i can use it on that too..

Hold up are you actually fiberglassing or adding on after marker parts?
its a 2 gauge pod i'm smoothing into my stock a-pillar...

edit...

a picture of what i'm thinking about...

no not that stuff, I use west system #105 and #205 or #206 depending on weather and temp. I also use the filler powders to create a filler thats far superior to bondo.
seems like pretty cool stuff... just use the resin with any hardner or powder and you make it do whatever you want...

expensive thats for sure...

precisly the answers i was looking for...

Thanks guys...
