ok I am planning on getting 2 pioneer 3004spl or 3002spl woofers and need to figure out the kind of amp to get, i have read up and still dont understand the process. Do i need a 2 channel 4 channel, bridge them or what. DVC 4 ohm (3004) DVC 2ohm (3002) at 1000 RMS. Can someone give me advise on which kind to look for and which way to wire them please. Possibly a diagram or a link, thanks alot.

( i have looked at the wiring guides and they arent making much sence)

For subwoofers you should look into a mono amplifier (single channel), they are normally more efficient (most are Class D) and will put less strain on your electrical.

You should get the 4ohm models, and wire it to a final 1 ohm load.

I have an amplifier that will do 2200w+ RMS @ 1 ohm, it would be perfect for you, PM me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif. what is your budget?

As for the wiring guides, they are as simple as it gets...

there is a sticky in the electrical forum with subwoofer wiring diagrams //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif also look into a mono subwoofer amp

Im thinkin no more than 400 if its possible but im still lookin to see whats practical, whats the advantage of a 1 ohm vs. a 4ohm load. and ive been lookin and i see what you mean about 4 ohm models. thanks abunch this helps me alot to know what im lookin for.

ohh 4 ohm, ur talkin like 1000watts x2 @4ohm???? and whats the x2? isnt that the # of subs bein wired in my case the 2 subs... so i should look for at least 1000watts x2 @4ohm to be the best kind of amp for my 1000watt rms subs? or am i totally confused

you want an amp that will do like 1200 watts rms at 1 channel. both subs can be wired for a 1 ohm load and hooked to a single channel. a kicker kx1200.1 can be had for that price, brand new authorized and would work well on those subs

so is it 1200 watts to each or 600watsto each , thatk you guys so much im gunna talk with my buddy bout this and figure out how to set it up, thanks again

The Kicker will give you around ~700w RMS to each sub.

Mine will do around 1000w each //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif.........The one for sale //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif;)//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

how much u thinkin for it, what about a orion2500d? would that work it says 2500 true watts @ 1 ohmso is that 1250 to each sub? i dono sorry

if you have a mono amp that does 1000 watts for example, it will split it 2 ways for the 2 subs so 500 watts a piece. 3 subs would be 333 watts. an orion 2500D would be nice but you need a good electrical system to run that beast.
